National Park Jeep Safaris
The best way to explore Sir Lanka’s National Parks with their great diversity of wildlife is by jeep. Look out for elephants, sloth bears, water buffaloes, wild boars, crocodiles, water birds and of course leopards. Jeep safaris are included for all National Parks accompanied by your experienced guides: Yala, Minneriya, Wilpattu and Udawalawe.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Sigiriya Rock Fortress is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the Ancient World. Also known as Lion Rock it is one of Sri Lanka's most iconic sights. You will have the opportunity of climbing to the top of this striking rock with its sheer vertical walls supporting the remnants of an ancient 5th century city.
Scenic high country train journey
Discover one of the world’s most scenic train rides found on the historic railway which snakes its way across the tea-clad mountains of Sri Lanka’s high country. Travel along the edge of mountains, passing tea estates whilst rolling in and out of pockets of mist filled mountain air.
Dolphin and whale watching
Whale and dolphin watching off Sri Lanka's south east coast is an exciting and unique activity and the frequent sighting all year round has put Sri Lanka and Mirrissa area on the worlds 'Top Hot Spots' for sperm and blue whale sightings. Whilst out on the boat you are often accompanied by pods of spinner dolphins.
Dambulla Cave Temple
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Dambulla Cave Temple, the best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Set amongst five caves, this Buddhist place of worship is thought to date back to the 1st century, and house the country’s most sacred Buddha images.
